tom's birthday!!!

thursday, november 29, 2007 was tom's 32nd birthday! we actually celebrated on wednesday with gran and grandad by going to the cheesecake factory...yum! i was going to bake tom a cake, but after the pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and oh yeah, pumpkin roll on thanksgving, we decided to take a break from the baked goods. even without a birthday cake, tom seemed to have a happy birthday and managed to receive quite a few gifts with christmas only 27 days away :) hopefully, pics will be posted sometime soon!

thanksgiving

nana and the girls invaded our house to help us celebrate caleb's first thanksgiving. in a matter of only 3 days, we managed to eat most of the 22 lbs. bird. caleb got into the thanksgiving spirt by trying 1 piece of turkey...which he promptly spit back out and fed to jack. oh well, so much for protein. and if i ever figure out why iphoto won't save the pics when i rotate them, i'll fix them on the blog...arrrgh!

since i'm new to the blogging thing, post will probably be pretty random until i've caught up with everything that has happened during the past year. here are a few pics from caleb's birth--almost a year ago!!! he was soooo tiny, but his sweet little face hasn't changed a bit.
